Beaches on the Brain

As February fast approaches my mind drifts to the tropical with the hope of spring one month closer. These photographs excite me for the warm weekend forecasted for this weekend in Kansas City!

This sign is posted on a palm tree in Kauai. Beyond is a road leading into a lush tropical rain forest.


 

The Gold Dust Day Gecko (Phelsuma laticauda laticauda) is an immigrant to Hawaii. It is native to northern Madagascar and on the Comoros, it has been also introduced to Hawaii and other Pacific islands.
